Our next show is the 30^th Annual Argyle Antique Gas Engine Show at Argyle Lake North of Colchester Illinios. September 2, 3, & 4.

It is briefly described on the Illinois DNR website as "... a festive celebration of times past. It's a great way to spend Labor Day weekend. You'll see demonstrations of wheat threshing, hay baling, sawmilling, sorghum making and blacksmithing. You can also watch crafts persons make quilts, whittle and make rugs. In addition, hundreds of antique tractors, cars and gas engines are on display. For bargain hunters, there also is a giant fleamarket."

Thanks everyone who came and enjoied the great weather this year at the 26th Annual Salt River Folklife Festival which was held held August 12^th and 13^th in Florida, Missouri. There were some fine new improvements, and the cabin has been saved (!).
